About the role

  • Operates material handling equipment including standup forklifts, pallet jacks, powered pallet jacks, vacuhoist, carton clamp, and slip-sheet attachment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensures material receipt, warehousing, and delivery to point of use in order to meet internal/external customer expectations including shipments of finished goods to the off-site Distribution Center.
  • Load and unload trailers that are going between our off-site Distribution Center and main site.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver all materials and product to work centers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintains material inventory quantity accuracy via physical counts & inventory management system transactions to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Maintain training on SOPs, Policies, GMPs, OSHA guidelines, and Safety Security & Environment guidelines.
  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness. This includes participating in the ZAP program. Our behavior-based safety program to help identify potential risks in the workplace.
  • This information ensures we meet certain regulatory and reporting obligations and supports the development, refinement, and execution of our inclusion and belonging programmes that are open to all Haleon employees.

Requirements

  • ​A minimum of a HS diploma/GED is required
  • 6+ months of related experience is required.
  • The Material Handler performs a wide variety of tasks focused on receiving, warehousing, delivering, shipping, and maintaining accurate inventories as required to support the Lincoln plant.

Nice to have

  • SAP (or other inventory management system) experience is a plus
  • Forklift experience a plus.
  • Stand up forklift experience preferred for loading/unloading trailers as well as storage in racking and bulk areas
  • Shift: This is a 1st Shift position.
  • The hours are Mon-Fri from 6:00am-2:30pm.
