About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Understand customer expectations, assist customer in interpreting and using support data and documents, and provide technical on-the-job training.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' of experience maintaining and troubleshooting C-17A aircraft
- Minimum 3 years' knowledge/understanding of mechanical, environmental, avionics and flight control systems, and electrical/electronic systems
- Must be able to function in a demanding on-call, around the clock operational environment
- To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
- Sustain a high level of proficiency in the maintenance and operation of company products by investigating technical problems and determining root causes.
Nice to have
- Prefer candidates with proven experience maintaining and troubleshooting C-17 aircraft mechanical, electrical/electronic, environmental, and avionics systems
- Prefer previous military experience or extensive familiarity with military operations and written maintenance procedures
- Experience with C-17 field or depot is preferred
- Production Superintendent Experience is desired
- Extensive experience using maintenance data collection and analysis (G081) is desired
- Extensive knowledge of C-17 Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) is desired

- Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Field Service Representative to provide on-site C-17 company representation and technical support to the team in Memphis Air National Guard Base in Memphis, Tennessee in conjunction with the C-17 Globemaster Integrated Sustainment Partnership (G3) contract.
