Requirements

- Faculty are required to provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
- In addition, faculty must be available for consultation with students outside of classes either in-person or remotely.
- Faculty will conduct student assessments as prescribed by the curriculum and must be willing to adhere to policies and procedures regarding students and faculty as established by the University and Department.
Nice to have
- Certification from the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association, or similar professional credential
- Research doctorate in audiology, speech-language pathology, or related discipline
- Prior experience teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in the discipline
- Terms of Employment
- Affiliate faculty are part-time, at-will employees hired to teach on a per credit hour basis for specific classes, usually on a semester-by-semester basis.
- All such teaching assignments are dependent on budget and enrollment.
- Qualified candidates will be expected to teach in person/on campus upon hire.
- Rate of pay per credit hour assignment can be between $1264 - $1482.
