About the role
- To provide high quality and timely processing of pathological specimens through gross examinations, necropsies, tissue trimming and tissue processing as specified in company protocols and SOPs.
- Use of an Electronic Data Capture System (EDCS)
- Attendance in protocol reviews, pre-necropsy meetings and departmental meetings
Responsibilities
- PA I will train on becoming a Lead Study Technician (LST)
Requirements
- Specialized necropsies and tissue trimming procedures as required by protocols
- 6 months to 1 year biological science or laboratory related work if B.S. or B.A. degree requirement not met
- Basic computer skills, MS Office Suite required
- Proficiency in English including speaking, reading, and writing
- Working knowledge of anatomic biology
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) preferred
- Associates degree or additional work experience acceptable
Skills
- Advanced Math skills specifically that apply to scientific data
