About the role

  • Summary This position is primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures, including SOX 404 compliance, as well as seeking continuous improvement and incorporating best practices.
  • This position interfaces directly with accounting management and Internal Audit.
  • Regular attendance is a requirement of the role.

Responsibilities

  • The Manager of Internal Controls supports the accounting team in the identification, design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance and review of financial controls, related flowcharts, and process narratives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

  • Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone.
  • May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs.
  • May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation.
  • Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

  • Experience with SOX program management tools such as Workiva Controls Management.

Compensation

  • $90k-$120k
