About the role
- This role will report to our VP of Business Development and will work closely with our sales and customer success teams.
Responsibilities
- Demand Generation & Pipeline Own lead generation strategy across inbound and outbound channels, with qualified meetings booked as the primary KPI.
- Partner with Sales to create personalized outreach campaigns that accelerate target accounts through the funnel.
- Design multi-channel campaigns combining email, LinkedIn, digital advertising, direct mail, webinars, executive dinners, and conference marketing.
- Optimize website conversion, landing pages, paid campaigns, and nurture sequences for pipeline impact.
- Drive brand awareness through content marketing, social media, webinars, podcasts, PR, customer stories, conference marketing, and digital campaigns.
- Develop messaging that resonates with Presidents, Provosts, CIOs, Vice Presidents of Academic Affairs, faculty leaders, and instructional technology teams.
Requirements
- Must-Haves 5+ years in enterprise B2B growth marketing or demand generation, with a track record of generating qualified pipeline.
- Strong written communication skills: you can write a cold email and a white paper.
Skills
- Highly analytical; comfortable owning a dashboard and clearly explaining what's working and why.
- Familiarity with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and AI search visibility strategies.
- Background in SEO, content marketing, and thought leadership programs.
- Experience scaling marketing at a startup or high-growth technology company.
- Nice-to-Haves Experience with category creation or launching a new product category.
- Existing network within higher education.
- Success Metrics Qualified meetings booked with target accounts (Primary KPI).
- Marketing-generated and marketing-influenced pipeline.
- Account engagement across strategic ABM targets.
- Growth in AI search visibility and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) performance.
- Brand awareness and share of voice within higher education AI.
- Website traffic, content engagement, and conversion rates.
Compensation
- 162,000 - 198,000 USD per year (Remote, United States)
