About the role

- The Exterior Door Production Operator is responsible for the efficient and accurate assembly, machining, and finishing of exterior door components in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor equipment adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Requirements
- Document production data, quality checks, and material usage as required.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required, including safety toed shoes, safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, woodworking, or construction environment preferred.
- Experience with doors, windows, or millwork production is a plus.
Skills
- Ability to read and understand work orders, blueprints, and measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer and data entry skills preferred.
