About the role

  • Rakuten Kobo Inc. is looking for a Recruiter (6 month contract) to join our Global Recruitment team!
  • Reporting to our Senior Manager, Global Recruitment, this person will be partnering across Kobo's business units to identify top talent for our amazing team.
  • You will be responsible for identifying and generating pipelines of qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process and ensure a seamless, consistent and positive candidate experience
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and hiring teams to source and identify candidates that will excel at Rakuten Kobo
  • Drive offer approval, extension and negotiation

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of recruitment experience preferable in both agency and corporate environments
  • Experience recruiting for both technical and business roles
  • Expert-level knowledge of applicant tracking systems (e.g. Workday), LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting technologies
  • Ability to qualify a candidate and understand what each candidate brings to the table, and then connect that candidate with the right opportunity at Rakuten Kobo
  • Proven experience in full lifecycle technical recruiting within a corporate environment working with multifunctional areas including technical
  • Experience in international recruitment an asset

  • Individual compensation may vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location.
  • CAD $63,394.00 - 99,112.48 annually
