About the role

  • This role will report to the Treasury Manager within the PL Re Financial Management & Treasury function.
  • This includes responsibility for managing cash positions and ensuring the availability of adequate funds to meet plans and obligations, while ensuring accurate and timely transmission of cash payments and receipts.
  • Strategic Treasury Projects involve business readiness for unique transactions and advising best practices for treasury operations supporting on-going reinsurance treaties.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash positions, liquidity, funding requirements, and short- and long-term cash forecasting across multiple entities, bank accounts, and currencies.
  • Support bank and investment account administration, including reconciliations, KYC requirements, signatory management, and treasury documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and controls.
  • Prepare treasury reporting and management information, including cash, liquidity, investment, and banking metrics, and support month-end, quarter-end, and audit activities.
  • Monitor investment portfolios and support compliance with Treasury Investment Policy and approved investment guidelines.
  • This role will support the Treasury Manager in managing and overseeing activities related to the cash management and banking related services for PL Re Group Companies.
  • In addition, the role will support our back-office transformation Project which seeks to redesign and modernise global treasury processes.

Compensation

  • $65,970 - $76,965
  • Compensation Range
  • The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
  • 23 days of annual leave (Regular employees) with option to buy or sell more days
