About the role
- This means owning new user onboarding, activation funnels, viral loops, and monetization features including credit systems, paywalls, pricing experiments, and upgrade flows.
- You'll work across the full stack-from frontend UX to backend logic to analytics instrumentation-while running A/B tests and iterating rapidly based on data to move key metrics.
- You'll balance scrappy experimentation with deliberate execution, moving fast when trying new ideas but slowing down when dealing with money.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize onboarding flows, activation funnels, and viral loops that drive user growth
- Implement monetization features including credit systems, paywalls, pricing experiments, and upgrade flows
- Run A/B tests and iterate rapidly, building tooling to improve our experimentation framework
- Own key growth metrics including sign-ups, activation rates, conversion, and retention
- Partner with PM, design, and data to translate business goals into technical implementations
- 3+ years building production web applications with strong full-stack fundamentals
Requirements
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js (or strong fundamentals in similar technologies)
Nice to have
- Experience with growth/monetization systems like onboarding, paywalls, referrals, or payment flows (Nice to have)
Compensation
- The base salary for this full-time position, which spans multiple internal levels depending on qualifications, ranges between $180K - $310K plus benefits & equity.
