About the role

  • As a Disbursement Analyst, you will sit at the heart of our settlement payment operations - owning the end-to-end processing of payments, tax form preparation, and cash management activities across active legal settlement matters.
  • This is a non-exempt, full-time role for a detail-driven financial professional who thrives in a high-accountability environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tax forms and apply basic payroll and tax knowledge to support regulatory compliance across settlement matters
  • Investigate payment issues - tracing discrepancies, coordinating with payment service vendors and banking partners to reach resolution
  • Manage confidential financial data and company funds with the highest standard of integrity and procedural adherence
  • Proven ability to read and interpret financial or legal documents, identify discrepancies, and apply independent judgment under expedited timelines

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll, banking, or a closely related financial processing role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook with the ability to accurately process high volumes of financial transactions
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and organizational discipline, with a track record of managing multiple concurrent priorities without errors
  • Familiarity with basic payroll tax rules, W-9/1099 preparation, or IRS reporting requirements

Nice to have

  • Associate Degree or higher preferred
  • GED or High School Diploma required

Compensation

  • $26k-$31k
