About the role

- The Department of Pediatrics at ETSU seeks a dynamic Manager of Research Operations and Faculty Development to propel our mission of advancing pediatric care through impactful research, quality improvement, program development and evaluation, and advocacy.
- Equally important, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring our next generation of pediatric leaders.
Responsibilities
- As a strategic leader and collaborator, you will oversee and assist in all aspects of research support - from facilitating grant proposals, grant-writing, and ensuring compliance, to analyzing data and disseminating findings.
- You will coordinate meetings, develop programs, and supervise staff to maximize our faculty's scholarly productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Three (3) - five (5) years' experience in a research administration
- Knowledge of grant writing and other technical writing
- Knowledge of data analysis techniques
- Knowledge of budget development
- Knowledge of university policies and procedures and grant policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate research information to various audiences
- Ability to make independent decisions and take the appropriate action in situations requiring a quick decision.
- Knowledge of Sponsored Programs administration, government grant policies and regulations
- Knowledge of Institutional Review Board requirements and policies
Nice to have
- Master's degree in a related field
