About the role
- You will serve as a hybrid leader and hands-on contributor.
- Team Leadership: Assign and oversee daily tasks for Engineering Technicians, ensuring project goals are met with high-quality outcomes.
- Mentorship: Provide hands-on training, feedback, and career guidance to technicians.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex assembly, bring-up, testing, and debugging of new components and prototypes.
- Prioritize tasks across multiple departments to manage shifting project timelines.
- Update and maintain engineering documentation, test procedures, and assembly instructions.
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency:
- Extensive experience with electronics prototyping, soldering, and complex system debug.
- You are comfortable reading PCBA schematics and wire assembly drawings.
- You are also comfortable in ambiguous situations when little to no documentation exists.
- You are comfortable providing constructive feedback and helping others level up their skills.
- Ability to "change gears" daily-managing team priorities one moment and performing deep-dive technical rework the next-without losing focus.
- Ability to bridge the gap between high-level engineering objectives and day-to-day technician tasks.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with electronics prototyping, soldering, and complex system debug.

- Tech Stack: LINUX CLI skills and experience with the Atlassian Software Suite (Jira, Confluence) are highly desirable.

- This is an onsite position at our Fremont, CA office.
- Typical travel availability is 25% as needed.
