About the role

We are seeking a dependable delivery driver - for Yard/Shuttle/Delivery/Dispatch.
Individual needs to have at least two years dispatch/yard control, driving and shuttling experience.
Fully understands all aspects of Yard Management and maintaining all logs and records of inbound-outbound carriers.

Responsibilities

Confirm contents of each shipment match es manifest document.
Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)
Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
Perform Yard Checks, prepare and distribute related report ing and daily email s.
Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in accordance with the weather and road conditions.
The driver will fill in for Dispatch as needed to support the traffic of all shipping and receiving loads as needed for incoming and outgoing shipments to/from Purple locations, and its depots and warehouses.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-year of tractor/trailer driving required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Skills

2+ y r s. of Yard/Shuttling / Dispatch, of inbound/outbound Load management.
An initiative-taking and meticulous individual with initiative-taking communication style with all teams.
Strong organizational skills in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment.
TMS system, scheduling, and car rier booking/appoint management.
Solid computer skills with email and spreadsheets.
Excellent customer service skills

Compensation

The compensation target for this role is: $24.00 - $28.00
