About the role
- TITLE: Process Operator LOCATION: Winston Salem, NC REPORTS TO: Operations Manager Ingredion is hiring a Process Operator in Winston Salem, NC.
- Successful candidates will be trained to operate our state-of-the-art plant-based protein facility.
- This position requires highly adaptable people who take pride in doing an excellent job.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory and cleanliness of equipment
- We drive relentlessly toward sustainable practices and responsible operations wherever we do business.
Requirements
- Candidates are required to be computer literate, able to develop & apply mechanical/problem solving skills, read and write in English, and work in a team environment with little supervision.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Computer literacy
- SAP experience is a plus
- Mechanical/problem-solving skills (preferred)
- Knowledge of GMP and food safety (a plus)
