About the role
- Folks VFX Toronto is looking for an HR Manager to join our growing team.
- The HR Manager is a new role performing a range of HR duties.
- The person will work closely with Head of Studio of Toronto in administering the activities and project related to the Human Resources department.
Responsibilities
- We value detail-oriented design through teamwork and creativity.
- Manage employee relation issues and advise management on how to effectively drive and solve HR interpersonal challenges;
- Perform other duties depending on the projects;
- Support the Head of Studio in the development, growth and needs of artists;
Requirements
- Someone with at least 3 years of solid experience in a Human Resources related role;
- Prior experience in the VFX/Gaming/Creative industry is considered a valuable asset;
- Someone who has the ability to coach and consult with all levels in the organisation;
Compensation
- Manage and guide supervisors with the annual review process;
