About the role
- This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient coordination of the Executive Director's schedule, communications, and priorities.
- POSITION DETAILS: Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year Schedule: EXEMPT - Reg: 40 Hours per week No relocation or VISA Sponsorship available HOW TO APPLY: Review of applications will begin immediately.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting senior leadership or executives.
- Experience working with or alongside governmental agencies, elected officials, or public sector organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.
- Ability to meet acceptable background check standards.

Nice to have
- Experience in a nonprofit, public sector, or Cooperative Extension environment.
- Familiarity with Suffolk County governmental structure and agencies.
- Experience supporting executive-level meetings, boards, or advisory groups.
