About the role

  • This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient coordination of the Executive Director's schedule, communications, and priorities.
  • POSITION DETAILS: Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year Schedule: EXEMPT - Reg: 40 Hours per week No relocation or VISA Sponsorship available HOW TO APPLY: Review of applications will begin immediately.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting senior leadership or executives.
  • Experience working with or alongside governmental agencies, elected officials, or public sector organizations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.
  • Ability to meet acceptable background check standards.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a nonprofit, public sector, or Cooperative Extension environment.
  • Familiarity with Suffolk County governmental structure and agencies.
  • Experience supporting executive-level meetings, boards, or advisory groups.
