Responsibilities

  • Perform transmission power flow studies that directly support real-world investment and development decisions worth millions of dollars.
  • Lead or contribute to interconnection and transmission studies, taking ownership from analysis through delivery.
  • Partner with software and product teams to shape the future of Orennia's transmission platform.
  • Create data-driven insights and thought leadership on the evolving grid.
  • Work closely with clients to deliver actionable transmission analytics and customized solutions.
  • We drive faster capital allocation decisions and help our clients maximize returns across the solar, wind, storage, power, RNG, CCUS, clean fuels and hydrogen sectors.

  • As an Associate on our Transmission team, you will play a key role in delivering advanced transmission analytics that support critical capital allocation and investment decisions.

Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge of power systems and at least 1 year of experience in transmission power flow analysis.
  • Experience with tools such as PSS®E, PSS®MUST, TARA, PSLF, or PowerWorld is an asset.

Nice to have

  • Electrical or Power Systems Engineering preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
