About the role
- Direct Local IT Managers, Global Systems Engineer, Systems Administrators and other technical professionals while providing oversight, guidance and efficient solutions for the department and studio
- Oversee a global IT staff in multiple locations
- Ensure critical IT issues and outages are dealt with in a timely manner and attention is put to mitigate regularly occurring problems
Responsibilities
- Maintain the development, management and continued evaluation of all technology to keep the company up on the latest technical innovations and remain the leader in our industry
- Develop and implement strategy for ensuring and maintaining quality assurance, time management and control of technical production
- Maintain training needs for all offices, including internal training, up-to-date documentation and training materials for IT workflows
- Collaborate with HR and other members of the management team to recruit and interview potential candidates for IT
Requirements
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems or comparable professional experience
Nice to have
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience managing an IT department, ideally in a creative, technical or entertainment company
Skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skill with strong attention to detail
- AWS Cloud Technology for Media and Entertainment solutions
