About the role
- This position provides for the protection and safety of all persons, assets, and property on Ivy Tech's Shelbyville campus.
- Responsible for the security of the campus buildings, grounds, and parking lots.
- Responsible for documenting and investigating all instances or reports of crime.
Responsibilities
- Ability to partner well with colleagues both in and outside of the organization.
Requirements
- Provide escort services to students and staff, as requested, or required.
- Lock and unlock buildings and offices as required
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- Must be adept at resolving individual and group conflicts and must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
