This position requires technical expertise in operating a Mazak Fiber Optic & C02 Laser and maintaining laser cutting equipment, along with a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in finished products.
Additionally, the Laser Operator may be responsible for troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, conducting routine maintenance tasks, and adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

While a high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, additional vocational training or certification in laser technology or related fields may be beneficial.
Ongoing training and professional development opportunities may also be available to enhance skills and knowledge in laser cutting technology.
Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery in a manufacturing or production environment is typically required.
You should have a demonstrated understanding of laser cutting principles and techniques.
Proficiency in setting up, programming, and operating laser cutting equipment is essential.
Candidates should be familiar with CAD/CAM software for programming cutting paths and adjusting cutting parameters.
Able to read blueprints.
Crane and forklift experience preferred.
