About the role

  • As an in-person tutor with GO Tutor Corps, you will play a critical role in supporting students' academic success by delivering targeted, small-group instruction in Math and/or English Language Arts (ELA).
  • We are seeking dedicated, reliable tutors who are passionate about educational equity and committed to making a measurable impact on student achievement.
  • Tutors typically work with 3-4 students per session in a supportive learning environment, helping to strengthen core academic skills while fostering confidence and connection.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Small-Group Academic Instruction
  • Implement pre-developed lesson plans and instructional materials with fidelity
  • Support Student Academic Progress
  • Incorporate feedback from coaches, teachers, or site leads to strengthen instructional delivery
  • Build Positive Student Relationships
  • Develop consistent, supportive relationships with students to encourage confidence and motivation

  • Collaborative problem-solving abilities
  • Able to travel to a GO partner school up to 5 days/week
  • Subject knowledge assessment

Nice to have

  • Prior experience working or volunteering with children is a plus

Visa & Work Authorization
