This position is located in Channel Islands National Park, in the Office of the Superintendent in Ventura, CA This is a Detail/Temporary Promotion not to exceed 1 year and can be extended up to 5 years.

Supported analysis of natural resource conditions and conducted monitoring, inventories, and studies to identify trends, evaluate resource status, and recommend scientifically credible management actions.
Assisted with program administration tasks such as preparing work plans, scopes of work, cost estimates, project proposals, and grant justifications
tracking project funds
and preparing accomplishment reports.
Supported research by identifying needs, assisting with statements of work, coordinating with researchers, and evaluating research findings for management implications.
and maintaining natural history collections in accordance with standards.
