COMPANY BACKGROUND Cheddar is the leading financial and technology news live-streaming service catering to millennials and Gen Z audiences.
In this dynamic role, you will play a critical role in informing and engaging our viewers with the latest developments in the ever-evolving world of business and technology.
The salary range for this role is $65 to $75 per hour.

Develop and write compelling news scripts and guest questions that are informative, engaging, and adhere to journalistic standards.
Collaborate effectively with other members of the news team, including producers, editors, and other reporters, to develop and deliver high-quality content.

Bachelor's degree required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with sources and interview subjects.
A natural on-camera presence with strong presentation and delivery skills.

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in broadcast journalism, with a strong focus on business and/or technology reporting.
Demonstrated experience in conducting on-camera interviews and delivering engaging reports.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and error-free copy.
Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and understand complex information.
A history of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Familiarity with business and technology terminology and concepts
