Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair air emissions monitoring instrumentation and extractive air sampling systems in the field - e.g., CEMS, FTIR
- Manage digital data and perform spreadsheet calculations
Requirements
- Associate degree in electronics or a related field, or commensurate experience.
- 0-5 years of experience of previous experience in performance testing and monitoring of industrial sources of regulated air pollutants
- Bachelor of Science degree
- Three or more years of experience in source testing, with emphasis on instrumental monitoring technologies (e.g., CEMS, FTIR)
- Experience with EPA test methods and monitoring system performance specifications
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Able to travel domestically and internationally by airplane and car, including overnight travel
- Capable of lifting, moving, and handling heavy objects, including field equipment, up to 50 pounds
- Able to work, walk, or climb stairs and ladders as well as work at heights
- Capable of working safely outdoors in a variety of climate conditions
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of chemistry basics
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software (Excel, Word, etc.), especially Excel
- Possesses a Valid driver's license

- The salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.
