About the role
- Salary Range USD $22.00/Hr. - Overview Job Summary The Bulk Order Puller is responsible for picking daily bulk foods orders at the Distribution Center for Natural Grocers.
- The order puller uses a RF gun and electric rider pallet jack to pull product, palletize, and label the finished pallets for shipment to our stores.
- The order pullers work together with Grocery, Shipping and other warehouse departments by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to co-workers and fellow team members.
Responsibilities
- completes daily inspection report Performs daily, weekly and monthly housekeeping duties
- forklift paths kept clear of wood, plastic, and other debris Perform all tasks in a manner that promotes safety May be assigned to other warehouse duties as needed Although this is a general outline of job responsibilities all employees are expected to be "hands on" and do whatever it takes to get the job done and make the company thrive.
Requirements
- Must have the ability to frequently lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift or carry 51-100 lbs.
- Must have the ability to occasionally push or pull up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to frequently lift overhead for building pallets Must be able to frequently bend at the waist and knees, twist, push and pull Requires the use of both arms and both hands with full range of motion.
- Must be able to frequently use the computer for data entry and use of mouse.
- Must be able to constantly walk and stand for the duration of the work shift.
- Must be able to frequently grip, squat, kneel, bend, twist, turn, reach outward, and reach above chest.
- Must be able to occasionally sit, use fine motor manipulations, climb, and crawl as needed.
- Must be able to frequently work with noise throughout the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to occasionally work in cold, heat, sharp tools and equipment, contact stress, and in a congested worksite.
