About the role

  • Summary Monitors system hardware, network, and infrastructure software performance, solves problems, and suggests improvements.
  • This role is a hybrid workstyle: with the associate expected to work from a Raymond James office location at least three days per week, including either Monday or Friday.
  • Please note: This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • At Raymond James our associates use five guiding behaviors (Develop, Collaborate, Decide, Deliver, Improve) to deliver on the firm's core values of client-first, integrity, independence and a conservative, long-term view.
  • Administer and support Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) repositories and agents.
  • Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle WebLogic Server environments.
  • Manage WebLogic, ODI and Ab Initio upgrades, migrations, patching, and environment refreshes
  • Support ETL processes and data integration workflows across multiple environments
  • Monitor ODI performance and implement optimizations for reliability and throughput.

Requirements

  • High School (HS) (Required)
  • Working Knowledge of Oracle and MSQL Databases.

Nice to have

  • Any cloud experience: AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure

Skills

  • Administer and support Ab Initio Metadata Hub
  • Troubleshoot application performance, memory utilization, thread issues, and startup failures
  • Experience with automation tools Jenkins, Rundeck, Chef,
  • Working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX.
  • On call troubleshooting experience.
  • Technical Skills/Experience:
  • Experience utilizing AI tools to increase productively (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
  • Network and security concepts and technologies
