About the role

  • Overview Knowledge Services is currently seeking a Procurement Assistant Director for a short-term contract through 12/18/2026 (potential for extension) with the NCAA.
  • The employee is responsible for providing training and resource information to state and contractual staff members.
  • Purpose of work is to ensure that the Department's policies and established guidelines are met in regard to staff development and training.

Responsibilities

  • The employee will be expected to partner with agency personnel and related stakeholders working toward the completion of assigned functions.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years strategic procurement and/or financial analysis experience in organization of comparable or larger size.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials and Purchasing system preferred.
  • Experience with Zip procurement orchestration tool preferred.

Skills

  • This position reports to the Managing Director of Procurement and is an individual contributor with no direct reports.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings through competitive bidding, bulk purchasing, and vendor consolidation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
