About the role
- Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a SCO Quality/Integration Services Specialist that will provide TGCS Staging Services for Point-of-Sale (POS) hardware and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products.
- Prepare and submit staging for all quote requests.
- Oversee pilot runs to confirm the accuracy of routing documentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit staging for all quote requests. Analyze customer requirements and product specifications to develop accurate, cost-effective staging quotes, factoring in product structure, component complexity and estimated assembly times.
- Create and release Engineering Changes (ECs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs) tailored to specific staging configurations and returned equipment.
- Responsible for developing the staging process and creating customized customer routing documents.
- These documents include key components such as product specifications, sequential routing steps, work center assignments, detailed assembly and staging instructions, logic testing procedures, inspection criteria, and packaging design
- Validate the Line Build In (LBI) process prior to the start of manufacturing to ensure the production line is properly staged and operational.
- Design and define packaging solutions, including detailed drawings, packaging matrices, pallet configurations, and specification documentation. Responsible for testing and approving packaging to ensure it meets functional, quality, and customer requirements
- Day to day questions - Quality support and direction
- QHR database support and analysis
- Ability to interpret and validate customer-supplied documentation (e.g, image load, test plans).
- Ability to develop cost-efficient quotes based on technical and operational requirements
Skills
- Bachelors Degree or 8+ years of relevant experience
- Understand BOMs, part numbering systems, and product compliance standards
- Knowledge of packaging customization and logistics
- Clear and professional communication of technical requirements and solutions
- Attention to detail to review documentation and creating customer changes
