Responsibilities
- Inventory, document, and assess OT and IT assets, systems, interfaces, and facility infrastructure environments.
- Perform detailed assessments of operational technology and facility control systems, including building automation, digital controls, lighting management, physical security and safety systems, industrial control systems, PLCs, and SCADA environments.
- Develop and maintain asset inventories, system diagrams, interface documentation, and data flows.
- Produce technical documentation and design deliverables, including network diagrams, segmentation strategies, integration designs, and migration roadmaps.
- Develop technical reports, executive summaries, and strategic recommendations supporting modernization, lifecycle management, and implementation planning.
- Collaborate with DND stakeholders, facility managers, engineers, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC)
- Experience developing secure network architectures and IT/OT integration strategies.
Requirements
- University degree or college diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Automation, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Operational Technology (OT), industrial automation, or critical infrastructure environments.
- Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret (Level II) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance and other clearances as required
- Willingness to travel to Department of National Defence facilities across Canada as required.
