About the role
- BioLegend is seeking a Bioassay Scientist to join the Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCBio) team.
- Effectively communicate experimental results and strategies in presentations and written reports
- Work across functional groups to facilitate new product development
Responsibilities
- Develop cell based assays and functional binding assays
- Write SOP and protocols in support of new product release
- Maintain scientific knowledge and critically evaluate scientific literature and industry trends in order to contribute to new product development
Requirements
- MS in Biology or a related field with at least 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience OR
- 5+ years of experience in cell based assay development and functional binding assay development

Nice to have
- MS in Biology or a related field with at least 10+ years of relevant laboratory experience
- PhD in Biology or a related field with at least 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience
- Experience in cell based assay development and functional binding assay development
- 5+ years of experience in tissue/cell culture
Compensation
- The base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000 - $162,000.
- Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
