About the role
- Barton House Memory Care by Novellus Living is looking to fill several Resident Care Technicians to provide personal care, companion care, nursing assistance and other assigned tasks to residents.
- Provides or assists in bathing or showering for thorough cleanliness and hygiene of resident.
- Assists residents in dressing when needed and demonstrates concern for individual privacy while providing resident care.
Requirements
- Requirements & Qualifications Valid Arizona DOH Caregivers Certificate required.
- High school diploma required.
Nice to have
- Six (6) months experience in providing personal care in a residential or long-term care setting preferred.
Skills
- Adaptability and strong organization and time management skills.
- Excellent resource management, computer, record keeping, interpersonal, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
Benefits
- Assists residents to schedule medical appointments or other vital services as indicated by the resident's plan of care.
- May be requested to accompany resident to appointments at the direction of the Resident Care Coordinator, Memory Care Manager, Wellness Nurse, or Director.
- When directed by the plan of care, assists resident to site fitness program or individual planned events.
