About the role
- This individual is part of the firm's Technology division but sits on the trading desk and is embedded in the technical operations processes of the firm.
- The task set is roughly split evenly between desk facing activities and light coding tasks often in collaboration with full time development staff.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers for all operational processes supporting trading applications
- New York based 200-person trading firm seeks a Trading Operations Engineer to provide technical operations support for US and UK based desks.
- Our team constantly seeks new opportunities, analyzes their risks and rewards, and creates strategies and tools to capitalize on them.
Skills
- Strong problem solving and multitasking abilities
- Experience with Python, bash and MySQL on Linux is required
- Excellent communication skills
- Range reflects annual base salary.
- Total compensation packages are comprised of base salary and a discretionary bonus.
Compensation
- $225,000 - $250,000 USD
