About the role
- The Coordinator, Trade Marketing (B2B) plays a vital role in supporting the trade marketing team in executing sales-aligned marketing initiatives for the travel advisor and agency channel.
- Working cross-functionally with internal teams, including trade marketing, sales, expeditions, B2C marketing, and trade advertising, the coordinator helps ensure consistent, high-impact messaging for the travel trade.
- These partnerships are a key channel for co-op marketing, advisor education, and driving bookings through the agency community.
Responsibilities
- Consortia & Strategic Account Marketing Support
- They will develop ideas to integrate leads, program innovations as well as grow and nurture our Travel Advisor audiences in the business.
- Partner with the sales team to:
- Track plan milestones in Workfront and maintain the Trade Marketing Content Calendar
- Manage the execution of each tactic, including submitting briefs to the creative team via Workfront and ensuring proper internal and external approvals
- Deliver post-event analysis to measure ROI and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Support planning and execution of Travel Advisor webinars, including theme development, scheduling, and promotion
- Manage logistics including briefing speakers, rehearsals, and technology setup
Requirements
- BA/BS required in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent industry experience
- 2-3+ years of experience in B2B and/or B2C marketing, events, social media, or related field, preferably in the travel industry.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
- Excellent ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Using the English language, this person must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend policies, legal guidelines, correspondence, and memos
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear.
- The employee will also be required to write and type.
