Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient records and medication regimens to support safe and effective specialty therapy management
- Support onboarding and referral processes to help patients access therapy as efficiently as possible
- Maintain compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, FDA, DEA, Medicare, ACHC, URAC, OSHA, and other applicable standards
- Support training and development of pharmacy technicians, interns, and new team members
- Supports clinicians, providers, and care teams through clinical expertise and collaboration

Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- Strong understanding of specialty medications and specialty pharmacy operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- The physical demands described here represent those required for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
- The employee may also be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

- Participate annually in required legal and ethical compliance training
Nice to have
- Three (3)+ years of experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Infusion Pharmacy, Home Infusion, Retail, Community, Mail-Order, or Hospital Pharmacy
- One (1)+ year of experience supporting specialty pharmacy service operations
- Certification in Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
- Experience with CareTend or similar pharmacy management platforms
- Deep care about the human impact of your work
- Clear communication and effective collaboration skills
- Strong ownership and accountability for patient care and operational responsibilities
- Ability to prioritize competing demands while maintaining quality and compliance standards
