About the role

  • The candidate's core responsibilities are to be able to work in a warehouse environment efficiently and safely in order to provide the FAB with materials to meet the company's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspection, warehousing, stores, equipment, supplies and mail
  • Fill orders and issue materials, tools, and supplies per requests; document transactions appropriately
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Perform daily inspections of material handling equipment
  • Perform within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area and support and participate on the Emergency Response team
  • This role supports a 24/7 manufacturing environment and requires working assigned shifts, which may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules, based on operational needs.

Requirements

  • Experience. minimum 3-4 years relevant warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics experience
  • Ability to effectively and safely operate Company Vehicles (Non-CDL)

Nice to have

  • Familiar with Lean Processes - 6s and Kaizan processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Experience with troubleshooting and structured problem-solving techniques
  • $37,500.00 - $63,000.00

  • Basic reading, writing and counting comprehension skills
  • Basic computer navigation skills - (i.e.Windows, Microsoft Office, Oracle, X-Site, Outlook)

  • Effectively communicate end of shift pass downs
  • Complete training, and operate functions, in multiple areas
  • Physical Capacity Demands:
  • Ability to work in a standing position for >85% of a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks)
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces for >85% of a 12-hour shift
  • Ability to lift, pull, and/or carry at least 50 pounds periodically throughout the shift
  • Ability to utilize computer (typing, visual screen time) for >85% of a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks)
