About the role
- Western Aircraft is hiring A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technicians responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining, and servicing of aircraft using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications.
- Work is performed in an aircraft hangar environment with moderate noise level.
- The employee is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
Requirements
- Must have the ability for climbing and bending at the waist, crawling, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and working at heights
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and 25 pounds overhead.
- Must have the ability for climbing and bending at the waist, crawling, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and working at heights; Reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally.
