About the role
- Train nursing staff at implanting centers in MCS patient care competencies
- Participate in patient assessment and post-operative follow-up in conjunction with the medical team
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized clinical nursing support for patients receiving mechanical circulatory support
- Collaborate with clinical and engineering teams to develop and review patient management protocols
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cardiac surgery, cardiology, or critical care nursing
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex clinical concepts for patients, families, and staff
Nice to have
- Registered Nurse with current licensure
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent degree preferred
Compensation
- The expected salary range for this position is $130,000 to $155,000 annually.
