Responsibilities
- Manage multiple workstreams (new features, integrations, maintenance) by prioritizing effectively and communicating trade-offs.
- Collaborate with engineers across the organization; participate in technical discussions to drive the best solution.
- Proactively identify and drive improvements in performance, scalability, resiliency, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience and a BS/MS in Computer Science (or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in Asset Management (focus on Funds and Intermediary businesses eco-system) is a must-have.
- Experience with vendor platforms - SEI and/or APL, Fund Admin is a must-have.
- Experience with the Intermediary model delivery ecosystem, including SMA/UMA programs, wirehouse/sponsor platform workflows, and model management platforms such as Envestnet and Orion
- experience with ETL/ELT concepts and tooling.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Snowflake, including query design and performance optimization.
- Hands-on integration experience with REST
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot or similar) responsibly to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.

Skills
- Full-stack web development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery where applicable).
- Hands-on integration experience with REST; comfortable working with JSON/XML.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- High ownership and accountability for delivery quality and production outcomes.
- Experience with scheduling software such as Tidal or Control-M
- Strong communication
- able to explain technical concepts and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience deploying and operating distributed systems on Kubernetes, OpenShift, and/or Azure.
- Experience with Python & Perl, shell scripting
- New York City; hybrid with a minimum of two days per week in office.
- Compensation Details
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $130,000-$180,000.
- This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
- We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
- This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
