About the role
- The Quality Engineering team ensures every HP IQ experience is robust, reliable, and delightful to use.
- Establish standards for test planning, execution, and documentation, mentoring QA engineers and championing best practices across teams.
Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test strategies that align with product goals, technical architecture, and customer experience.
- Cross-functional collaboration with engineers, product managers, UX, and design to embed quality from ideation through release.
- Define and drive key quality metrics, triage defect patterns, and surface actionable insights through dashboards and reports.
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, metrics, and test architecture design.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with a proven record of raising quality bars in complex systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency with test automation tools and scripting (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Python, or similar).
- Familiarity with backend service testing, distributed systems, and API validation.
- Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI).

- Proactively identify future testing needs across cloud, edge, and device interfaces-shaping the long-term QA roadmap.
- Strong communication skills that emphasize collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Compensation
- $115,000 - $188,000
- Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)
- The salary range for this role is listed above. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills.
