- Investment Banking - Associate D.A. Davidson & Co. is accepting applicants for an Associate position in the Diversified Industrials Investment Banking Group.
- The Associate will play a vital role working with senior bankers on strategic assignments, assisting clients with mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements and other advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior bankers to support business development, sourcing and execution of transactions
- Take the lead for developing important technical analysis and presentations
- Create marketing materials
Requirements
- 2 years minimum professional experience working in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, etc. is required
- Bachelor's degree, but an MBA is not required
- Advanced knowledge of business software (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, corporate finance and accounting
- Good judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion
- High degree of comfort and confidence interacting with senior executives
- Ability to train and provide mentorship to analysts and interns
- Highly motivated, confident, professional, and coachable
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills including business writing
- Able to handle multiple projects with competing priorities
- Strong work ethic and team oriented approach
- Flexibility to work long hours, nights, and weekends, as needed
- Securities Industry Essentials Exam, Series 79 (Series 7 may be applicable) and 63 licenses preferred but not required. New hires without these licenses will require successful completion upon hiring
Nice to have
- Proficiency with Capital IQ, PitchBook or Tableau is a plus

Compensation
- $160k-$190k
