About the role
- Rexel USA is one of the largest distributors of electrical products, data communication, wireless communication and related supplies in the United States.
- Rexel USA operates its electrical distribution business in the United States through eight Regions that go to market under various banner and trade names, including Rexel, Rexel Automation, Gexpro, Mayer, Talley and Platt Electric Supply.
- Summary: The Regional Wire Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of more than one wire center within a defined geographic area.
Responsibilities
- Partner with wire center managers to develop and manage operational and administrative budgets, ensuring costs remain within approved guidelines
- Support wire center managers in carrying out their responsibilities and resolving operational issues
- Develop and recommend short and long-term objectives for the wire center operations and office administration
- Implement business strategies established by senior leadership and ensure compliance with company and department policies and procedures
- Purchase and manage office supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels
- Perform other duties as assigned

Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience with electrical distribution or wire/cable experience
- 2+ years of warehouse management experience preferred
- Wire center management experience preferred
- High School or GED
- 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree
- Understanding of purchasing and general negotiation
- Understanding of wire and cable
- Understanding of general distribution center functions
