About the role
- The Compliance Research Associate reports to the Director of Compliance and is responsible for the execution of individual research projects, reports and memos.
Responsibilities
- Execution of research projects; Conduct social media research across multiple platforms; Comprehensive vetting using LexisNexis and other searchable databases; Ability to conduct independent research and provide succinct reports; Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC's mission.
Nice to have
- Candidates with a strong working knowledge of LexisNexis and other research tools preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Commitment to the Democratic National Committee and its core values
- Previous experience using LexisNexis preferred
- 1-2 years of campaign experience is strongly preferred
- and, Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Skills
- Attention to detail, time management skills and strong writing skills are essential requirements for this position.
Compensation
- The starting salary for the Compliance Research Associate position is $54,100.00, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which means you will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek.
