About the role
- The Industrial Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving operational efficiency, and leading large-scale projects including production line relocations, plant layout redesigns, and facility moves.
Responsibilities
- Implement cost reduction and productivity initiatives
- Partner with leadership in the execution of production line moves and facility transitions
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Plant Layout & Industrial Design
- Design optimized plant layouts
- Support facility planning initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Experience with high impact line moves or facility transformations
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma
Nice to have
- Six Sigma certification
- Automotive or heavy manufacturing experience
- ERP/ MES system experience
- Plant startup or expansion experience
- Project leadership
- Analytical thinking
- Change management
- Communication skills
