About the role
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts for our software products.
- This role involves designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, ensuring product reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and execute automated and manual test scripts to meet quality goals.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of software defects and track resolutions.
- Collaborate with team members and assist colleagues in achieving optimal results.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management within the scope of expertise.

Requirements
- Strong understanding of software development principles and various software types.
- Proficiency in formal programming languages, primarily Python and SQL.
- Knowledge of automated processing technologies and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with technical documentation standards and best practices.
- Minimum 6+ years of professional software testing experience.
- Extensive experience with QA tools, including defect-tracking systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Solid understanding of client-server architecture.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

- Prior programming experience is highly desirable.

Compensation
- For Chicago, IL Only the salary range for this position is USD$140,000.00 - USD$195,000.00.
