Responsibilities
- The technician will maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and lab support systems
- lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- and support documentation, safety, and process improvement efforts.
- Over time, the role includes hands-on training in laser and optical systems, including laser equipment support, optical alignment, and beam delivery systems.
- This position is designed for a strong all-around maintenance technician who is interested in growing into a specialized laser and optics support role.
- The technician will maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and lab support systems; lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis; assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and prototype system bring-up; and support documentation, safety, and process improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Strong electrical troubleshooting experience is required, along with mechanical aptitude, the ability to read schematics and technical drawings, and the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prior laser or photonics experience is not required.

Compensation
- The pay range for this position is $35 to $55 USD per hour (applies to United States of America candidates only).
