  • Who You Are TabaPay is looking for an experienced and proactive Data Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage scalable and reliable ETL/ELT processes for loading data into data warehouses.
  • Manage and optimize our data warehouse for performance and reliability.
  • Maintain data integrity and consistency across systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Document data engineering processes, designs, and architectures.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand their needs and build solutions.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in a fintech company or fast-growing startup.
  • BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong debugging skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
  • Experience working with AWS.
  • Fast learner with strong work ethics and high-performance standards.
  • Solve today's problems and lay the foundation for the future.
  • Proficient in writing production-quality code in Python. Go would be a plus.
  • This role is located in Palo Alto, California - three times a week in office.
  • The pay range for this position is $130,000
  • however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

Nice to have

  • Proficient in writing production-quality code in Python.
  • Go would be a plus.
