Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot process problems and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization working closely with Shift Lead and Lead Operator.
- Maintain superior housekeeping standards throughout the plant, process and control room areas.
- Understand and perform safety responsibilities such as hazard identification, equipment lock-out, emergency response, follow safe work procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation including plant log, maintenance records, safety & environment reports, etc.
- Track and maintain key performance indicators such as production, downtime and production losses.

Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver's license required.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
- Ability and confidence to work with minimal supervision and proven strong leadership abilities.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with proven analytical, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible for corrective action if required.
- 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate minimum. 2nd class preferred.
- Three or more years of operational experience.
- Must live within the Grande Prairie catchment area.
- Proficient in use and application of PC programs specifically in Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- open to take on a variety of operational challenges.
Nice to have
- 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate minimum.
- 2nd class preferred.
- Operational and maintenance experience in gas compression, dehydration and NGL recovery is preferred.
