About the role
- You will report to the Senior Director, Project Management, and work on a hybrid basis out of either our Santa Monica or Oakland, CA offices.
- Serve as the project manager for individual microgrid construction projects for our customers from contract signature through commissioning
- Ensure our internal company functions (i.e., Business Development, Engineering, Service) are aligned throughout the project execution process
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage 3 rd party agreements and relationships with Contractors/EPCs and other material and service providers
- Manage bid solicitation, bid review, selection, contractor negotiations, and establish and maintain project budgets
- Proactively identify and resolve conflicts and develop and implement viable solutions
- The investment enables Scale to own and operate billions of dollars in distributed generation assets.
- An understanding of building code and regulations
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in construction management, general contracting, logistics, engineering, energy industry, or military experience
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
