About the role
- Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Global Credit, Global Convertible, Volatility & Capital Structure Arbitrage, Event-Driven Investing, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets Trading, and Global Quantitative Trading.
- The individual should have the ability to work in a team environment consisting of remote locations, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, strong adherence to established workflows or be able to identify improvements.
- Preferably from a financial background but more importantly a team player with a collaborative spirit.
Responsibilities
- Provide desktop and mobile device support firm wide.
- Own requests through to resolution, ensuring the requester is kept informed of the progress throughout.
- VIP support for Investment professionals.
- Create technical documentation.
- Support the asset management of hardware and software.
- Support and maintain the automation of the starters and leavers process.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team and business processes.
- We are currently looking to hire a talented and experienced Senior Support Engineer to join their End User Services team in New York.
Requirements
- 7-15 years of experience in a similar role
- Mobile device platforms expertise (iOS, Android)
- Experience in first line networking.
- Experience with Market Data applications
- Support office moves, events, as and when required.
- Windows Server support and administration
- Azure Active Directory support and administration
- Exchange Online support and administration
- VMware or comparable experience
- SCCM Imaging experience
- Service Now & Confluence experience
- Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Hardware knowledge (Lenovo, HP and Dell
- Salary Range
- $150,000 - $200,000 USD
